…. @DroolMama…. at least I think it is…..this is the name I’ve been tweeting as for about 3 years. Yikes, time flies when you’re putting your thoughts into 140 characters.
A little backgroud – I used to own and be chief Mama of a retail store called Drool. Juggling a business and children at the same time (ie. them tugging at your legs under your desk) is not easy. I wanted to be that gal who could not only have her cake and eat it, but bake it too – oh I had my cake alright, but my kids were smearing it all over the house and cake battered pans were pilling up in the sink. As probably many moms do, I generally set the tone of the household and you know what they say… If Mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy. And that was true, our household was stressed. Something had to give, so I tossed a coin and luckily the kids picked heads and won. And I am now “just” Mama.

All that to say dear tweeples… that name is no longer me, and I’ve been thinking about it for a while… do I change my name or not?
I launched this blog primarily to document our new house build. And since I have no desire to look like a blogging ass hat, I’m attending Blog Podium to learn from the Pros and meet some smart design savvy people, who I will then blog stalk for inspiration as I make our design decisions. And while I’m super excited about this event, we need to submit bio’s which include dum, dum, dum, dummmmm our twitter names.
So no more dilly dally, the time is now and I need your help.
The name I really want @KathleenAtHome is taken by some gal who signed up for twitter one day and never came back. Thanks for that lady.
I’ve also come up with @KathleenInTheCity and @KathleenKaz.
I’d love your feed back. Care to weigh in on those two? Got any other ideas? Or should I just continuing drooling?
**UPDATE: I received some great feedback and votes on twitter and the majority of people thought a change was a great idea. So you can now find me thinking it 140 characters as @KathleenKaz
